Proper training is critical. “Train like your life depends on it” is a motto every gun owner should take to heart. Westminster Arms inspires this motto by offering exceptional training both in the classroom and on the range. Our Basic Pistol and CCW class covers all the basics, including law and scenario education, and we offer personal one-on-one training that will enhance every aspect at every skill level. After our courses, you will feel confident in your capacity to carry a firearm and the competency of being a responsible gun owner.
Meet your instructor Jonathan Bath – Jonny is an NRA certified instructor. He holds multiple Massad Ayoob Group certificates including MAG30, MAG40, MAG80, MAG120, MAG Deadly Force Instructor, and is a staff instructor for the Massad Ayoob Group. NEW PISTOL COURSE

Westminster Arms now offers a beginners pistol course with live and dry fire training. This class is instructed by our trainer Jonny and structured for the first time pistol user. You will learn essential safety and the foundational skills of pistol marksmanship. We cover how to line up sites, aim, proper pistol grips, mitigating recoil, and shooting positions.
- Class is held once per month
- Class is 9am-2pm with regular breaks
- Cost of the course is $250 per person
- Drinks will be provided at the range
REQUIREMENTS:
- Student provides their own choice of handgun
- Bring three magazines for that handgun
- Bring a holster for that specific handgun with a magazine holder. If you don’t have a holster, we can make a custom holster for you prior to the class.
- Bring 350 rounds of ammo
- Bring personal eye and hearing protection
- Bring sunscreen, a hat and bug spray
BASIC PISTOL/CCW
Our Basic Pistol course is $125 and offered every 3 weeks. The class is held on Saturdays and runs from 9am-6pm. You will learn the basic fundamentals of carrying a firearm, firearm safety, laws, and situational awareness.
PERSONAL INSTRUCTION
